Manifested and unmanifested loads are priced differently for a reason. Here is the trade you are making.
A manifest is an item-level list of what is in a load. Unmanifested
means there is not one, and will not be one.
The trade
A manifested load costs more because the seller has done the work of counting and listing
it, and because the buyer is carrying less uncertainty. An unmanifested load costs less
because you are carrying that uncertainty instead.
What we can still tell you
Not having a manifest does not mean knowing nothing. Every listing here states the lot type,
the merchandise category, the source channel where we have one, and an approximate piece count
where a figure exists.
What an approximate count is
It is an estimate of the order of magnitude of the load, not a promise. A load coming in
over or under that figure is normal, and is not treated as a shortage.
Why we will not produce one on request
Producing a manifest after the fact would mean writing down a list we have not verified.
That list would look like a guarantee, and it would not be one.

Every listing states the lot type, the approximate count and the condition basis before you buy.
