Delivery
What happens at your end
Freight delivers to a business address or a yard that can take a pallet or a trailer. You are responsible for having somewhere to put the load and a way to get it off the vehicle.
Check the load against the delivery receipt before you sign it. If a pallet is crushed, torn open or obviously short, write it on the receipt and photograph it before the driver leaves. Without that note, a transit claim has nothing to stand on.
